 QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

Birthday Greetings to

Childcare - July Holidays
A school family has asked if anyone is interested in minding two boys aged 5 and 7 years in the July holidays, Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.  As the family lives in the country, the boys would need to be looked after in town.  Please contact Ushani if you are interested on 021 0234 4510.

Pukeko Class
Dear family whanau,
Our Pukeko class is being filmed next week on Tuesday morning at 9.15 am for our school movie.  We have practiced a Pukeko dance and will be dressed with a Pukeko mask.  We would like your child to please wear their PE shorts and top to school on Tuesday.  I would like the children to also wear a pair of gumboots for the filming.  Could you please send their gumboots to school next Monday so we can practice dancing while wearing them.  If you have any spare pairs, could we please borrow them as not all of our students own gumboots.  The average children's footwear size is US 12 or UK 13.  Kind regards Leanne Brookes.

School Parish Freezer
It is always nice to offer a cooked meal or baking to families who are struggling with illness, bereavement or other hard times.  Our school parish freezer is empty at the moment and we are always grateful for any donations that our families can give. If you are able to donate any items for the freezer, this would be greatly received and they can be dropped off at the school office.

Sports Draw
The sports draw is on another page in the blog.  We would love some photos of your children playing sport.

Subway Lunches
Are up and operating again.  You can buy chocolate milk for $2.00 but you must write it on the subway envelope if you want one.
