This term in our R.E Curriculum, the children are learning about the Church.
Church Strand Key Ideas
  • The Church is the people united with God

  • We all have a responsibility in the Church

  • There are formal responsibilities in the Church

  • The mission of the Church is to bring about the Kingdom of God on Earth.  

School and Family Mass 

Thank you to Ruma Hoiho- Year 5/6 for presenting the Liturgy last week.

This week, the school Mass was led by Ruma Kakapo- Year 4/5 

Next week Mass will be presented by Ruma Kiwi -Year 2/3

Parents are welcome to attend. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our school weekly masses. Thank you.

 

Sacramental of First Reconciliation-

A huge thank you to all parents who attended our first parent meeting for First Reconciliation. Much appreciated for taking the time to attend and participate in this faith journey. 


A reminder that our Commitment Mass is this Sunday 19th June at 9:30am Mass and our 2nd Parent Meeting for Reconciliation- Mon 27th June at 7.00pm at school.  First Reconciliation: Thursday 30th at 11.00am at the Basilica.

What is Trinity Sunday?  

Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday after Pentecost in the Christian calendar. Trinity Sunday celebrates the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

There have been different symbols used over time to represent and explain the Trinity.
