Swimming 

We are halfway through our school swimming lessons and it is pleasing to see the children making progress in their lessons.  The next swimming days are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.  Information regarding the senior swimming sports for Friday 4th March will be sent out next week.  

Summer Sports

Cricket

We need another 1-2 players for the boys cricket team for Thursday nights.  If your son is interested in playing cricket for the 5 weeks in March, please contact Mrs Brien.

Touch

Touch starts on Tuesday afternoon and a notice will come home tomorrow for players with last-minute details.  Teams are now full and we cannot accept anymore entries. Thank you to our parents who have offered to coach our teams.   A couple of reminders: -

-  any outstanding touch fees from last year need to be paid before your child can play this year

-  the competition format will be the same as term 4 with grades playing on alternative weeks

-  any player who is 12 years and 3 months plus needs to have a Covid vaccine pass to play

Community Notices

• Out of Hours Music and Art Classes - this is open to all North Otago children aged 8 - 12 years hosted by Weston School.  Music classes are ukulele, guitar, chanter/bagpipes and drums.  Art classes available.
