1. Principal's News Week 6 Term 2, 2017

Community Meeting
The staff and myself would like to invite parents and caregivers to meet and talk with us about future skiing possibilities for St Joseph's.  We would like to have an open, solutions-focused conversation.

Monday 12 June, 6pm in the school staffroom.  All welcome.

Year 6 Visit to North Otago Rock and Mineral Club

Thank you to Karen McMullan who led our year 6s through an exploration at the North Otago Rock and Mineral Club yesterday.  This has added to their science investigations into rocks.

Country Clash
Thanks to the Year 8s for organising "Country Clash" for us yesterday.  The seniors enjoyed dressing up in their country colours and competing as their countries.

Catholic Social Justice Teaching - Human Dignity - Made in God's Image

We believe all people are made in the image of God and we have to protect and honour all life from conception through to natural death.

In our school this means living by the "Golden Rule," - treating others the way you want to be treated.  Or as one child put it, treating others the way they want to be treated.

God Bless,
Lorraine Frances-Rees
