4. Sports Draw - Week 2, Term 3 2020

Netball - Saturday 1st August

Duty

We are on duty this Saturday and we need to have 2 parents from each team to run the netball office and the team who is on set up requires a few parents to help out. As we only have 3 teams this year, our times in the office are extended and since we have two teams playing at the same time, one team has to do the later time.  The shifts can be split with 4 adults doing half an hour each so they are not in the office for the whole time.  

Please note we usually do duty twice a season and if parents do duty this time, they should not be expected to do duty next time.  Instructions on what to do are in the netball office.

Coaches - please organise your parents for the roster.

Umpiring Sessions

There is an umpiring session this Friday for any girls wishing to umpire netball this year for Yrs 7 & 8.  The session starts at 3.45 (not 4.00 pm) and goes for an hour.  Please bring a whistle, sport shoes and a drink bottle.

Rugby - Saturday 1st August 

• The 11/12 year old team has joined with Athies for the remainder of the season. Next week’s practice will be held next Tuesday instead of Thursday as the coach is away.
• The 9/10 year old team has two games this Saturday with the first at 10.00 and the second at 11.00 am.

7/8 yrs

MINIBALL AND BASKETBALL INFORMATION

• All families have been emailed the score bench rosters for the season. Please ensure you do your duty otherwise teams will lose competition points if it is not done.
• Teams will have to supply referees for some games this season as there is a shortage of referees.  If anyone knows of a person who would like to referee basketball or miniball, please let Mrs Brien know.
