Our year 8's have connected with the local St Vincent de Paul Society to find out what our community most needs at the moment. The big concern is food for families and rather than providing food items, SVP Society asked for cash. Yesterday we had a gold coin mufti day and the year 8's organised a coin trail for the school. We raised $227.40.
Hannah and Hamish shared their puppies |
The Enviroteam have put bird feeders around the school which gives us the opportunity for statistical investigations |
Our Year 8 Physical Activity Leaders Bella Hubber, Michael Woodhouse and Tadiwanashe Mandiwona, attended a morning's training with Sport Waitaki yesterday. This gave them ideas for physical activity and strategies to help them to teach and transfer these skills to other children.
Have a restful and relaxing holiday and we look forward to seeing everyone again in two weeks.
Aroha and God Bless
