2.Special Character Week 12 Term 2 2020

Special Character Focus
School and Family Mass- 
Presenting the Mass and Gospel is a service opportunity and Ministry for our children in spreading God’s word.
You are welcome to join us for Thursday Mass at 9:15 am in the Basilica. 
Thank you to Kiwi -Miss Sollano class for the presentation of the gospel at Mass last Thursday. Today the Mass and Gospel presentation lead by Year  8- Mrs Jones Hogan. 
In term 3 the first week Mass and Gospel will be lead and presented by Year 7 Mrs Herbst's class.

The Key Concepts we teach about God are:

1. God created the world.
2. Ways we can know about God - God is revealed through Jesus
3. God is all powerful and remains a mystery.
4. God loves us individually (He has made a Covenant with us) e.g for key concept number four

God, we are tired and thank you for this holiday. We know it maybe cold, wet and windy but you gave us
the weather so we can enjoy something different every day. As you let the earth rest through the
winter, we too are gifted with this opportunity to rest and recover from our business and hard work at
school and home. Help us share the peace this time with our family and friends. Amen

yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find
rest for your soul.

TERM TWO SCRIPTURE / PRAYERS 2020- Week 12

The Good News: No one does anything alone. You can help friends and family get through
life's big and small obstacles, and they will do the same for you.
