Football - Saturday 5th August – football

Football Referees Course – will be held on Friday 4th August at 6.00 pm at the Oamaru
Showgrounds. The course will go for
approximately 2 hours. This is a basic
starter referee course to assist coaches, managers and parents to be able to
help out with refereeing within the junior age groups. A dinner of pizza will be provided – names urgently
to footballwaitaki@gmail.com
Friday 11th August – we also have an
introduction to Goalkeeping coaching course – this will run from 6.00 pm at the Showgrounds. Again if we have good numbers, we will
provide a pizza dinner for participants.
Registration for both of these courses to Football Waitaki ASAP.

Over the last
couple of weeks, there have been a few issues at the Waitaki Recreation Centre
on our basketball nights.
Please:
-- do not abuse the facility by
going into the toilets and turning on and off the lights and/or the taps.
-- do not leave your rubbish
lying around either on the score bench, team bench or in the spectator
area. Coaches and managers please remind
your teams.

Netball held a goal-athon day last Saturday and teams were allowed to dress up for this day. The Rebels and the Maroon team show off their tutus.
