Mufti Day
Next Thursday as part of our Caritas Challenge, the children are asked to wear mufti clothes as they are participating in fun activities in the afternoon.  Each child is to bring a gold coin donation which will be donated to Caritas.

Reminders
Thursday 7th - mufti day and gold coin donation
Friday 8th - technology for Yr 7 & 8


Subway Lunches
Will be available again next Friday.

Touch Rugby
Thank you to all our coaches who helped our touch rugby teams this term. We are hoping term 4 will be back to normal where the teams can play each week.  Can all touch bags please be returned to the office.

Winter Sports
Sport uniforms and gear bags
These will be handed out in the first week of term 2

Fees 
-  please ensure payment of your sports fees has started before we can hand out sports uniforms
-  if you have outstanding sports fees from last year, these need to be paid before your child can play a 
  sport this year.
-  If you need assistance in paying the sports fees, please contact Mrs Frances-Rees
-  The fees for this year are:  

Netball - yr 1 & 2 - the fees are $25.00  - confirmed
             - yr 3 to 8 - the fees are $50.00  - confirmed

Rugby - 5 & 6 years - the fees are $30.00 - confirmed

Basketball - $60.00 - fees still to be confirmed from the North Otago Basketball

Miniball - $60.00 - fees still to be confirmed from North Otago Basketball

Contact Details
Team contact details have been emailed out to teams with confirmed coaches.  Once we confirm the coaches for the basketball and yr 5/6 miniball team, the contact details will be sent out.

Practices
Your child's coach will contact their team to let them know when their first practice will be.  Please ensure you let your coach know if your child cannot make it to practice or a game.

Basketball and Miniball Coaches
We will confirm the basketball coach next week but we still require a coach for the yr 5/6 miniball team. If you know of anyone who can help, please let Mrs Brien know.  Thank you.

Rugby
If your child has registered to play for St Joseph's Rugby in the grades from 7 years upwards and is going to play for another club, playing another sport instead or has chosen not play rugby this year, please let Mrs Brien know as she is attending a rugby meeting next week and needs to confirm how many children are playing rugby this year.  Thank you to the families who have already let her know.            
Weston School Rogaine
A family-friendly team event similar to orienteering but with a twist.  You design your own course to suit your ambitions and ability.  Plot your course with the aim of exploring the area and collecting points for your efforts.  The maximum time to complete the course is 3 hours.
Where - on a private farm in North Otago Airedale Road.  
When - on Saturday 9th April

Community Notices
  • Football Fun Day - Saturday 2nd April - a great opportunity for kids, parents and coaches to have a go and learn new activities and formats of the game for the 2022 season.  Held at Sir Basil Arthur park in Timaru.  Grades 6 to 8 from 10.00 to 11.00 am and grades 9 to 12 from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.  Contact Luis for further information at luis@footballsouth.co.nz
