Faith Insights

WEEK 6 8th – 12th March (Violet)
3rd Week of Lent

Your child may be praying the Stations of the Cross at school.

Praying the Stations of the Cross (alone or with a group) is a Lenten tradition. Catholics walk to the fourteen stations of the Way of the Cross and stop to pray at each one. The Stations tell the story of Jesus Easter Journey. The stations can be displayed outside in a park but are usually found inside churches. People read and pray these stations very slowly. Imagine the scene in Jerusalem as Jesus walked his Way of the Cross.

Thank you/Malo 'Aupito
God Bless
