Summer Uniform
This term we are focusing on respect which is one of our key values.  Very very slight shifts can turn a respectful environment into a disrespectful environment.  We need to make sure we do the right thing at grassroots level to ensure respect drives all of our actions.  This is also means respect of our school uniform and for it to be worn with pride.

 True JJ Role Models
In the holidays, Molly Whittaker (Yr 7) and Emily Hayman (Yr 8) spent a Sunday supporting the local Special Olympics by swimming alongside the swimmers in support of their effort.  A comment by one of the organisers (Sharon Bartley) had this to say:  "Thank you for the support, it was a great day and our athletes swam 1178 laps between them.  Having the support of the girls and other volunteers really kept them motivated and my son was aiming for 100 laps but ended up doing 300 so it was an awesome effort".  Well done girls on giving up your time and helping out a worthy cause.

Winter Sports Uniforms
There is still a number of uniforms and gear bags that have not been returned to school.  Please ensure this is done immediately thank you.  Also any gymnastic leotards to be returned as well.
