Week 8: Violet 21st - 25th March
3rd Week Lent
23rd
Saint Turibius de Mogrovejo
25th Day of Prayer for Family Life
25th THE ANNUNCIATION OF THE LORD

The Annunciation celebrates the appearance of the Angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary to announce the birth of Christ. Mary does not understand the announcement but has faith and accepts God’s trust in her and the difficult journey ahead.

How often do we need to have faith and trust even though we may not completely understand? The Church recognises Mary’s courage in this feast.
