Home & School
A reminder for the first aid kit orders and money are due back at school to the office by tomorrow. Please support this worthy fundraiser as it helps raise money for our school.

St Joseph's School Enrolment Meetings
Reminder if your child is turning 5 next year, they will need to be enrolled this year.  The enrolment meetings are held on Tuesday 18th August and Wednesday 19th August.  Please contact the office to make a time.

Cross Country
Mrs Souness is still requiring parents to help out as marshal's for next week's cross country. Please email Mrs Souness on if you can help.  She will contact you directly in regard to your instructions.  Remember we cannot run the cross country successfully without your help. Children are to come to school in their PE gear and bring a drink bottle, sport shoes and warm clothing.

Uniform Shop
The shop is open on Monday mornings from 8.30 to 9.00 am and Thursday afternoons from 2.30 to 3.00 pm.  They desperately require small size pinafores, small jerseys and boys small winter shorts.

We warmly welcome Blair Hirst to our new entrants class, Brooke Hirst to our Yr 3 class and Cheyanne Hirst to our Yr 5 class.  

Rep Rugby
Jacob Fowler, Jack Cameron, Kaleb Cant and Lachlan Brookes looking smart in their North Otago rep rugby gear last Sunday.  Both teams played against Mid Canterbury and in their first outing for the season.
Community Notices
  • Women Uncovered - Thursday 20th August - fundraiser for the Cancer Society.  It is a ladies night filled with fashion, fun, being 40ish and freebies with fashion designer Tasmin Cooper and radio personality Nicky Rennie.  There will be delicious nibbles and prizes galore.  It is held at the Brydone Hotel at 7.00 pm and tickets cost $37.00 which are available from Paper Plus or online at
