Congratulations
To Mannix Fraser and Cody Haynes who received the Principal's Award last week.  Mannix received his for supporting some children in the pool during the swimming sports and Cody for being an excellent Junior Liaison Leader in helping out the Junior Hub 2 before and after school.  Mrs Burke and Miss Day are very thankful.

Found
We still have 2 pair of goggles and a pair of glasses in the office that have been handed in.

Lost
Ava Watts has lost her named school jersey and Diego Gibbs has lost his size 8 school polar fleece which is brand new.  Please check your child's clothing and if either of these items are found, please return them to the office.

Lost Property
These unnamed items are in the Lost Property under the stairs.  If these are unclaimed by Tuesday 24th March, they will go to our Uniform Shop or St Vincent de Paul.

North Otago Swimming
Well done to the children who participated in the North Otago swimming sports yesterday. A big thank you to Miss Tangney, Mrs Asi and Mrs Dickie for their help.

Swimming Certificates
Our school swimming trophies and certificates and the North Otago swimming certificates will be handed out at assembly tomorrow.

Bagpipe Lessons
The Waitaki Districts Schools Pipe Band are offering bagpipe lessons to interested school students.  The lessons will be held on Monday evenings at the St Kevin's College Music room.  If you are interested, please let the school office know.

St Kevin's School Production - Beauty and the Beast
St Kevin's College would like to offer our students and families the opportunity to secure Early Bird tickets before they go on sale at the beginning of next term.  The adult tickets cost $15 each and student (primary/secondary) tickets cost $10 each and are available till Tuesday 31st March.  There are 4 performances starting on Thursday 21st May at 7.00 pm, Friday 22nd May at 7.00 pm, Saturday 23rd May at 7.00 pm and Sunday 24th May at 2.00 pm.  We have attached an Early Bird Booking form with the email or you can fill one in at the office.  Please bring the correct money and booking form in a sealed and named envelope and return them to St Joseph's school office.  Your tickets will be delivered to the school office at the beginning of Term 2.

Summer Sports Draw

Kiwi Cricket - Fridays at Whitestone Contracting Stadium at 4.00 pm

Touch Rugby - Tuesday 24th March -  the draw was unavailable at the time the news blog went to print.  Please check the notice board or go to the touch rugby website.

Community Notices
Reward for Guitar - A $100 reward is being offered for a missing brown tanglewood with many signatures on the body in black hard case with road sign stickers.  A very special guitar which could not be sold due to personalisation.  If anyone knows of its whereabouts or have any information, please call 027 882 2221
