Swimming
North Otago Swimming
Congratulations to our children who competed at the North Otago Swimming Sports yesterday. They were a great bunch of students who represented our school with pride. A lot of our swimmers improved on their times since our swimming sports and lots got top 10 placings.  Thank you very much to Chris Hogan, David Heffernan and Michael Bartlett who offered to be timekeepers on behalf of our school.

Junior Swimming
There is 3 sessions of junior swimming next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  We urgently require another parent to help walk the children to and from the pool at the 12.40 pm time slot as one of our helpers realised she could not help next week.  If you can help, please let Mrs Brien know asap thanks.
Mrs Brookes and Mrs Misiloi's class will leave school at 12.40 pm, not 12.30 pm for all future swimming lessons and Mrs McRae's class will leave school at 1.15 pm as usual.

Otago Primary Schools Swimming Sports
These swimming sports are held on Saturday 6th April at Moana Pool in Dunedin.  All races are 50 metre races. If your child is interested in attending these sports, please let Mrs Brien know.  Entries have to be in by Wednesday 20th March.

Presentation of Certificates and Trophies
These will now be held on Friday 29th March and not Friday 22nd March as previously stated.

Terrific Thursdays
There will be no Terrific Thursday next week due to the junior school going to swimming lessons.

Young Vinnies
Each week Adrienne Spillane organises our Year 7 & 8 Young Vinnie students to go and visit residents in rest homes, stack firewood and various other jobs that might need doing within our parish community.  Today our Yr 8 students along with our volunteer parent Mr Lee Woodhouse were stacking wood away for a local parishioner.  A big thank you to all our parents who volunteer to drive the students to the Young Vinnie destinations each week.

Welcome
We warmly welcome Celina Mascarenhas to our new entrants room this week.
Winter Sport
Next week, winter sports team lists will come out as this week has gone by all too fast!!
