We were very blessed with a lovely day on Tuesday which helped make the cross country an enjoyable occasion for the whole school. Again special thanks to Dave and Rebecca Heffernan for their help before and on the day. Thanks to Adele Whiston for being our photographer and to the parents who helped with marshalling. There are a few photos and most of them are in year level so you can flick through the different year levels to find the year you want.
Certificates and Trophy presentation will be held tomorrow at assembly at 2.15 pm. Yr 1-3 will receive a certificate for placings and Yr 4-8 will receive a trophy for first and certificates for placings.
North Otago Cross Country notices have gone home to the recipients and we need to know if you are going to attend or not by Tuesday 28th August. This year we are joining forces with Oamaru North School and competing under a combined zone so we need to know who is competing. The North Otago Athletics are holding a sausage sizzle at the North Otago Cross Country on Monday 3rd September. Costs $2 per sausage and drinks are available.
Otago Cross Country is held on Friday 14th September and names to be given to Paula Brien immediately after the North Otago Cross Country.

- 50 cakes to be baked for the cake wheel, cake notice on wall outside office door
