Junior Netball Newsletter for Round 2
Intermediate 1:
Intermediate 1 now has 7 teams. The 6 teams from last round and OIS Pulse are coming up from Intermediate Section 2 so there are no double headers or byes.  The team who does not have a game will play a senior team from Section 5 at 12.00 pm. No points will be counted for this game.
There will be no semi-finals. After round 2 there will be a straight final, so every game counts.

Intermediate 2:
OIS Pulse is no longer in this grade, there are now 7 teams. This will mean during round 2 each team will play a double header. We will make sure the games are 9am and 11am. This game will not count for points. There will be a semi-final and finals for this grade.

Year 5 & 6:
This grade will continue to play each team. There will be no semi-finals just a straight final for the two teams with the highest points.

Year 3 & 4:
This grade will continue to play each team and will end up playing a few teams twice. There is no semi-finals or finals.

Year 1 & 2:
We need parent help… If your child participates in these sessions, can you please be ready to help out. --
-  Bibs to be put on, goal hoops being held and anything extra.
The more adults that can help the easier it is to run the programme and the players will benefit by having more feedback and adult input. Be great to see all parents in their gym shoes on Saturday.
Last session will be on Saturday 7th July.   PLEASE DRESS UP FOR THIS.  At the end of the session there will be a short presentation for the players.

Goalathon /Dress up - Saturday 7th July:
Last year was an outstanding effort for Goal-a-thon. This is the only Junior Fundraiser we have to do for the year. Please support this and some great prizes will be up for grabs.  Players/Teams are encouraged to dress up on Saturday 7th July and shoot as many goals as they can.
Rain out day will be after the school holidays Saturday 28th July.
All money needs to be returned to North Otago by Wednesday 8th August.
Last games for Years 3 – 8 is on Saturday 11th August. Prize giving will follow. Time will be confirmed closer to the date.
Thank you
Renee Webster – North Otago Junior Netball Coordinator
