QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

Birthday Greetings
Lewis Geypen, Lucas Yu and Marco Alegre

Contact Tracing - Covid-19 Public Health Responses
One of the additional changes for Alert Level 2 which came about this week is that you no longer have to record the residential address of visitors in our contact tracing register.

Parents who come into the school still need to sign in and sanitize if they are dropping anything off to their children, please come to the office first.

Cover Ups
Children are allowed to bring cover ups (navy track pants) to wear over their clothes at lunchtime if they are playing on the field.

Entrance into school
At this stage during Level 2, all children are to come through the main entrance and walk through the corridors to their classrooms and the junior school children can still leave via their gate in the afternoon.  Parents still need to sign in if they come into the school building.

Home and School
They are holding their AGM on Thursday 11th June (next week) at 7.00 pm in the staffroom.  This will be followed by a committee meeting.  Please sign in when you arrive.
Everyone most welcome.

School/Parish Mass
There will be no school mass next Thursday 11th June as Fr Wayne is away.

Subway
There will be no subway lunches until Covid Level 1 and we will let you know the date that Subway resumes it's school lunch programme.

Technology
A reminder that Technology starts tomorrow for our Yr 7 & 8 children.  They have to be at St Kevin's by 8.50 am and will be bused back to school at lunchtime.

Water Fountains
These will be closed till further notice.  Please ensure your child brings their own water bottle.

Winter Sports
Fees - we are still waiting on confirmation of fees from the football and rugby associations for this season.  We will let you know next week what they are but most sport associations have reduced their fees for this season. These fees need to be paid before you receive your uniform and play a game. If you have already paid your winter sports fee, we will make contact with you if you have paid extra money.

Second Hand Sports Equipment and Gear
If you have any old sports equipment and gear surplus to requirements, please donate them to our school for other children to utilise.  These could be boots, sport shoes, track pants, head gear etc. and can be dropped off at the office.

Teams
It is not too late to enter a team if you wish to play a winter sport as all sport registrations have to be sent away within a couple of weeks. If for some reason you wish to pull out from a team, please let Mrs Brien know straight away.

Team lists and information will be sent home tomorrow via both email and hard copy.

Community Notices
  • Oamaru Library - from Tuesday 2nd June, the Oamaru Library hours will be extended by half an hour from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.  If you are coming in with children after school, please understand that if the area is full, they may have to ask you to come back another time so they can maintain their 1 metre distance between people as much as possible.
