Congratulations to Tannah Rintoul, (Yr 8) Tegan Souness (Yr 7) and Harriet Heaphy (Yr7) who were selected for the North Otago Yr 7 and Yr 8 rep netball teams. Congratulations also to Antonia Black who made the non travelling reserve for the Yr 7 team. The 3 girls will play in 3 tournaments this year against teams from Mid and South Canterbury and Otago.New Zealand Citizens
Congratulations to Vannisah Ramu and her family who became New Zealand Citizens this week in a ceremony at the Waitaki District Council chambers. Mrs Jocelyn Marsh felt very privileged to be invited to attend this ceremony.
Rippa Rugby Tournament Final
Congratulations to our Yr 5/6 Rippa Rugby team who got 3rd in yesterdays tournament. Our Yr 5/6 Rippa Rugby team travelled to Timaru to play in the final against teams from Mid and South Canterbury and North Otago. There were 2 teams from each province. Many thanks to the coaches, drivers and supporters who cheered the team along. The results are as follows:
- lost 9-3 against Pleasant Point (eventual winners)
- drew 7-7 against Geraldine
- lost 8-7 against Methven
- won 9-6 against Borough
- won 9-6 against Fenwick
