2. Special Character News Week 4, Term 4 2014

Sacramental Program

Last Sunday, at Mass, 17 students and their families were presented at the beginning of their sacramental program which will see them receiving the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist in 2015.  Each child has a prayer partner from the parish who will be praying for them during this time. The children met their prayer partners after Mass at a morning tea held in the school hall.  We wish these children and their families every blessing as they begin their spiritual journey towards completing the first three sacraments of initiation into the church - Baptism (already received), Eucharist and Confirmation.

All Saints

Remember to ask your child what they have learnt about saints this week.

November is the month of remembering our loved ones who have gone before.

Our hymns at our school masses this term reflect the theme of Christian Hope, knowing that our departed loved ones live on in God's love and in the love in our hearts and memories.

Prayer for the Departed

Eternal Rest, Grant unto them oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them.  Amen.
