matches on Queens Birthday.
First Aid in Rugby
North Otago Rugby are running a First
Aid in Rugby (FAIR) course and ideally would like at least one person per club
to have this training. The date is
Sunday 24th June. It is an 8
hour hands-on course with approximately 8 hours of work required prior. There is a cost of $50 per person which
includes catering and a basic first aid kit at the end of the course. If anyone is interested in attending this
well worth course, please let Paula Brien know and she will forward your name
on.

Waitaki Girls Rep Team Trials for the 11th Grade will now be held on
Sunday 27th May at the A & P Showgrounds from 10.30 am to 12.00
noon for any girl aged between 9-12 years.
Any girl that went to trials on the 13th is invited also. For

Mouth guards
It is mandatory for all players to wear
a mouth guard at all times during games as this is a Health & Safety requirement
of being allowed on the turf. Children
who do not have a mouth guard will be sent off the turf as was the case this
week. Mouth guards can be purchased at
chemists, supermarkets, sport shops and The Warehouse.

MINIBALL AND BASKETBALL INFORMATION
This is the first week of competition
for both miniball and basketball. Please
be aware there may still be some slight adjustments in the sections.
Please remember if teams don’t turn up
to referee and score bench duties, please note it on the score sheet as these
teams will not receive their competition points for their game that night.
Miniball
There are an odd number of games in the back court and therefore two
teams will do a double duty each week i.e. the game before and after
theirs.
Miniball - Tuesday 22nd May
St Joseph’s Breakers is on Early Duty
on the back court. This involves setting
up the score bench including the clock.
Make sure the score sheets are filled out by both teams and make sure
the games start on time as per the score sheets.
