4. Sports Draws and Sporting Information

Netball - Saturday 4th June
There is no netball this Saturday due to the long weekend.

 Sports Information
ANZ Festival Day
This festival is for all year 1-6 netballers and will be held in the Edgar Centre, Dunedin on Sunday 12th June.  Celebrate netball with activities, games and autographs.  Yr 1 & 2 is from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm; Yr 3 & 4 is from 12.30 to 2.00 pm and Yr 5 & 6 is from 2.30 to 4.00 pm.  Cost is $5.00 per participant.  Register at ANZfutureFerns.co.nz  At the same time is the Otago Secondary Schools Tournament where younger siblings can go and participate in the Festival Day.

Highlanders v Crusaders Rugby Game
Will be played on Thursday 23rd June at Whitestone Contracting Stadium, Oamaru.  Kick off is 3.00 pm.  Entrance Fees cost $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children. Pre-sale tickets available from the Opera House or Online at TicketDirect. (North Otago Rugby have no control of these prices as these were set by the Highlanders and TicketDirect)

Coaching Youth Basketball Clinic
There is an additional coaching clinic being held at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin on Sunday 19th June. Basic fundamentals and small group/team drills will be covered. Expect to learn some skills in each of the 5 areas: footwork - offensive and defensive;  ball handling; passing; shooting and offensive/defensive/transition drills for team training's.  The session starts at 11.00 am and will last one hour.  Local Otago Basketball coaches will be presenting on-court drills.  There are no previous requirements need to attend the clinic which is free.
