The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a Christian life according to Paul in his Letter to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Leading up to Confirmation all Year 4 children have been looking at how we can use the 'Fruit of The Spirit' and how they can make a big difference to the way we live our daily lives and our relationships with others.
On Sunday 12th June at the 9.30 am Mass, twenty-two of our children will be receiving the 'Sacrament of Confirmation'. It would be lovely to see as many of our families at this Mass in support of the children. The Celebrants will be Father Wayne and Bishop Colin Campbell. You are all welcome to join us for a cup of tea in the hall afterwards. (Parents of the children making their 'Confirmation' please leave your plate in the hall before Mass. Please bring enough food for your family and Prayer Partners who will be joining us. Thank you). Looking forward to seeing you all there with your singing voices. Take Care and God Bless Ann Dooley Co. DRS (Director of Religious Studies). |
