Athletics
A notice will come out tomorrow regarding the senior athletics for Friday 12th November.  If anyone is willing to help out on the day, please contact Mrs Brien.

Book Fair
The Book Fair finishes today and no further orders can be taken.  






Futsal (Similar to indoor football)
Starts this Monday and the Yr 1-6 teams play at the Waitaki Rec Centre and the Yr 7/8 team plays at St Kevin's gym.  Children are to wear their pe clothes and football boots are not allowed.  Please turn up 5-7 minutes before your game starts.  If anyone wishes to play Futsal and they have not signed up, please contact Mrs Brien.

We have two girls from Waitaki Girls High School who have offered to look after two of our teams and we thank them for their kind gesture. They will coach the Yr 1/2 Red team and the Yr 5/6 team. Contact Details will be given to teams once we get all the information.

    Come join us at the Oamaru Farmers Market

    Every Sunday from 9:30 am - 1 pm at the Harbour area


    • Come down to the Market and pick up your weekly supplies - a great variety of fresh, locally grown seasonal produce, artisan breads and pastries, cheeses, delicious homemade preserves, native plants and more, plus enjoy breakfast, a happy atmosphere and live music. 

    • Kakanui Tomatoes will be back at the market this Sunday with their high quality, freshly picked tomatoes.

    • Come down and buy some native plants from Waterway Natives this Sunday and also discuss your landscaping ideas with Daron, he is always happy to assist!

    • Selwyn will be back with his Sharpening Truck next Sunday the 7th of Nov 2021. Get all your sharpening tools ready.

    • We do need to make sure that we are meeting the Covid 19 Level 2 restrictions, so please remember to enter the Market via the main entrance on Wansbeck St only. We need to monitor how many people are on site, so please do only use this entrance/exit. We also ask that you sign in using the QR code or registration book, wear a mask unless eating or drinking and please maintain 2m distance from people that are unknown to you.

Fun walk/run: 2.5km (1 lap), 5km (2 laps),10km (4 laps)

Duathlon:

Off the Couch: 2km Walk-Run / 4km (1 lap) Bike / 0.5km Walk-Run

Weekend Warriors: 2km Run / 12km (3 laps) Bike / 2.5km Run

  • 1. Mini Movers - Term 4 Mini Movers FUNdamental movement programme for 3 & 4 yr olds. The programme runs for 6 weeks and covers a range of fundamental movement skills. This includes jumping, running, throwing, striking, and balance in a fun environment utilising lots of great equipment. $42.00 per child. Friday mornings 9-10am.
