Book Fair Week
Thank you to Miss Sollano for organising our Book Fair week. It was great to see our students wearing homegrown book character costumes on Tuesday. They have really enjoyed looking at the books and thank you parents for supporting them.
Athletics
Athletics practices are well underway. Athletics will be different this year due to our Level 2 requirements and Senior athletics will be on Friday 12th November at St Joseph's starting at 9.30 am. A junior school demonstration will be on Tuesday 16th November starting at 1.45 pm.
Earthquake and Tsunami Drill
Today we welcomed representatives from Otago Emergency Management, the National Emergency Management Agency Director Gary Knowles and also Simon Chambers and our Mayor Gary Kircher, and Deputy Mayor Melanie Tevandale to share our earthquake and tsunami drill with the nation today.
St Joseph's was chosen this year to be the national livestream school for the drill. Check out (on demand) Breakfast TV this morning at 7.55 and 8.55am and on our Facebook page.
