It was wonderful meeting parents last week for the Sacramental group in helping prepare children for Reconciliation and for their valuable contributions made during the meeting.
The next parent meeting regarding this will be next Monday March 5 at 7pm.
We congratulate and send blessings in welcoming Fr Michael Dooley as the newly appointed Bishop of the Otago/ Southland Diocese. He is the seventh Catholic Bishop of Dunedin, taking over from Bishop Colin Campbell following his retirement.

Formation in Spiritual Discernment
That the Church may appreciate the
urgency of formation in spiritual discernment, both on the personal and
communitarian levels.
Pope Francis is asking us to pray for ourselves and each other in our need to learn and grow in our ability to spiritually discern.
Evangelization
means to get the word out. Tell people about Jesus and his message.
Spiritual Discernment means
to think and pray about how and why we do things.
