We will meet in the school car park at 10.00 am and walk together with Mrs Misiloi to Humber Street where the procession begins. Friday 1 - Disco for Yrs 1-6
Next Friday is our Home and School Disco for Yrs 1-6 only (sorry no pre-schoolers). The disco will start at 6.00 and go to 7.30 pm. The theme is Christmas and it costs $3.00 for entry which gets you a drink, a bag of chips and a glow stick. If you want to buy another glow stick it will cost an extra .50c and $1.00 for another drink. Parents should be warned that the main lights are off and there will be flashing lights and loud music. We are asking that the children are to be dropped off and picked up at 7.30 pm as they will be adequately supervised by our Home and School parents.
These notices went home to every child apart from the Yr 8 children, at the beginning of the week and they are due back by tomorrow. Unfortunately there are still 130 replies that need to come back as they are required for us to organise swimming, cricket and touch rugby for term 1 and as we only have 3 more weeks of school left, we require this information. Please drop these forms back to the office asap.
Swim Dates
Will now be in next week's blog.
Tea Towel Fundraiser

Yr 6 Education Outside the Classroom
This week our Yr 6 class has experienced learning outside the classroom. They experienced being mini master chefs where they had to create a meal from their laptops with cans that had no labels and with a limited amount of money to buy the groceries required for this. The judges thought the food was very well presented, very nutritious and tasted lovely. They have enjoyed rock climbing, water safety, team building games, abseiling, scavenger hunt and today they are in Dunedin experiencing Leap (trampolines) and a walk. Tomorrow they have another exciting day planned. A very big thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who have helped made this an amazing week. Photos from this week will be in next week's blog.
