Pompallier Rugby Tournament
On Sunday we sent 3 rugby teams to the Marist Pompallier Rugby tournament held in Ashburton and competed against teams from Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch. Even though the results didn't come our way this year, the children showed good sportsmanship and true veritas values to win the Fair Play trophy.  One of our teams only had 10 players in it and they were competing against teams who had 30 players and subs.  The children competed in rugby games, tug of war and sprint competitions and really enjoyed the day.  Many thanks to the coaches and parents who helped with the day.

Sport Practices
As our coaches are all voluntary and give up their time to coach your children, please let them know if your children cannot make a practice or a game. Lately some of our teams have been short of players due to parents not informing coaches that their child cannot make a game.

Subway
The new Subway order envelopes have arrived at the office  Remember Subway costs $6.00 and $2.00 extra for a drink.
