Learn to be happy with what you have instead of looking at what you don't have.
There will always be someone who will more or less that you have.
A person who is satisfied with what they have is the happiest person in the world.

Otago Athletic Championships
Last weekend 8 of our students who are members of the North Otago Athletics Club went down to Dunedin to compete in the Otago Athletic Championship competition. Jacob Robinson had an exceptional meet with winning 7 of his races, Matthew & Michael Woodhouse, Hunter & Lewis Gough and Sebastian Spillane got seconds and thirds in their events. All except two were selected for the Otago age group teams to compete at a triangular on the 26th March. Jacob and Sebastian were awarded 1st and second place medals for the mini-multi points competition held over 2 Saturdays before Christmas. Congratulations to you all.
Pancake Day
On Tuesday, our Yr 8 students organised a Pancake Day for a fundraiser for Caritas The students made 150 pancakes and sold them for $1.00 each to the rest of the school raising approximately $80.00. They learnt how to work in a team environment and how to use the ingredients properly. The Yr 8's all enjoyed the experience especially eating the 'rejected' pancakes.
Swimming Sports
Last Friday our school held the senior swimming sports at the Waitaki Aquatic Centre. It was great to see so many children dress up in their house colours and support their fellow school mates. Thank you very much to Miss Pope and Mrs Asi for organising the sports and to the large number of parents and St Kevin's students who helped out on the day. Swimming Trophies will be handed out at assembly next Friday 17th March at 2.15 pm. Good luck to the swimmers who are competing at the North Otago Swimming sports next Wednesday.
