3. School Notices - Week 6, Term 1 2015

Altar Servers

A couple pair of goggles and a necklace has been handed into the office, please come and claim them if they are yours. 

Swimming Trophies and Certificates
Will be handed out at assembly on Friday 20th March at 2.30 pm.

St Joseph's Food Fair
Is on this Sunday from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm.  We would love to have your family and friends join us on this day.  If you have a cake, cupcake or other item to drop off, please take them to the school hall on Saturday between 4.00 and 5.00 pm or Sunday 8.00 to 11.00 am.  There will be 2 entrances where you can buy tickets to buy plates of food.  Each ticket is worth $5.00 and gets you 1 plate.  You will need cash for the drinks, face painting, ice cream truck, coffee van and cakes.  Eftpos is available with cash withdrawals to a maximum of $30.00.  If it rains, the food fair will be held indoors in the school hall.



School Gymnastics
Will be offered next term with further information coming out in Term 2.

Coaching Seminar
Mike Weddall from Sport Otago is hosting a seminar will be held next Thursday 19th March on 'Getting Started in Coaching'.  This will be great for any new or current coaches/those wanting knowledge or advice on coaching young athletes in any sporting code.  This seminar is free of charge.  It will be held at 7.00 pm in St Kevin's College Health Classroom) off the gymnasium. For planning purposes, please let Mrs Souness know if you are interesting in attending by Wednesday 18th March.

Summer Sports Draw
Cricket 4th Grade - Saturday 14th March - St Joseph's v Kurow at St Kevin's 1

Kiwi Cricket - Fridays at Whitestone Contracting Stadium at 4.00 pm

Touch Rugby - Tuesday 17th March -  the draw was unavailable at the time the news blog went to print.  Please check the notice board or go to the touch rugby website.

Community Notices
-  Kakanui School Big Beach Day - Saturday 21st March at 10.00 am.  There will be surf competition, beach dig, live music, beer tent, food and drinks, market, spot prizes.  Great family day out at Campbell's Bay.
