Staff News

On Friday 27th March, we will be having our final celebration kotuitui (assembly) for the term. We will be farewelling Mrs Frances-Rees and Miss Clouston during this assembly. You are welcome to join us. There will be no assembly the following week as we will finish with an Easter liturgy on Holy Thursday.
When Mrs Frances Rees leaves to start her new job as principal of St Joseph's in Pleasant Point, Mr Cartlidge will take over as the acting Deputy Principal (DP). Mrs Burke will continue as Assistant Principal (AP) and Miss Huls will be Assistant Senior Team Leader.
Miss Clouston's advertised vacancy closes today and we will let you know the outcome of this process as soon as possible.

Swimming Sports
A huge thank you to Mrs Souness, our staff and parent helpers for ensuring that our swimming sports were another big success on Wednesday. Congratulations to all of our enthusiastic competitors, especially the swimmers who will progress to the North Otago's next Wednesday. The highlight was the House Relay - congratulations to Siena House !!

Garden Club Produce
Thanks to the hard work from Susie and our student gardeners, our school garden is starting to produce some delicious fruit and vegetables. Every Thursday after mass and after school, you can come and collect some produce for a donation. Any funds will be used to resource the garden and anything extra will go to St Vincent de Paul. We will set up a table outside the front entrance in Usk Street starting next Thursday.

Congratulations
Our warmest congratulations to Justin Fowler (one of our dad's), Johanna Kearney (one of our ex students) as well as all of the St Kevin's teams and players who took out awards at the Sports Waitaki evening on Monday night. We are very proud of you all!
