4. Sports Draw - Week 4, Term 2 2018

Netball - Saturday 26th May
Duty - We are on duty this week and we need to have 2 parents from each team to run the office.  A roster has already been sent out to parents and coaches but there are still some times that need to be filled.  Please let your coaches know if you can help.

Please note we do duty twice a season.  If parents do duty this time, they should not be expected to do duty in the next round.

8.30 - 9.00 am - set up - St Joseph's Rebels (play at 9.00 am)

9.00 - 10.00 am - office - St Joseph's Maroon (play at 10.00 am)

10.00 - 11.00 am - office - St Joseph's Ferns (play at 11.00 am)

Cancellation of Matches
North Otago Netball will notify people of a cancellation either by their website (North Otago Netball) http://www.sporty.co.nz/northotagonetball/Courses-1/Other-1 or their Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/groups/459827920772862/   Paula Brien is the contact person so she will let coaches know by text.

Cancellation of Matches
If games are cancelled due to wet weather etc. the cancellation is posted on the North Otago Rugby Facebook page North Otago Rugby Facebook and their website North Otago Rugby Website as well as the local radio station 104fm.  They will try and make the call by 8.00 am to give people enough time to let everyone know.  (Paula Brien is the contact person who will let coaches know by text)

Town v Country Match
Congratulations to the following children who made the Town v Country teams for the Queen’s Birthday rugby tournament.

Town 9/10s
Sione Tuuefiafi, Nye Jones-Hogan, Sami Asi, Michael Woodhouse, Patrick Spillane, KentonTokai, William Pardede and Kristiana Whiston.  Practices will be help 1.00 pm on Saturday 26th May at the Athletic Marist grounds.  Enquiries to Lee Woodhouse 027 492 4577.

Football - Saturday 26th May
Girls – Rep Trials – Football Waitaki Girls Rep Team Trials for the 11th Grade will now be held on Sunday 27th May at the A & P Showgrounds from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon for any girl aged between 9-12 years.  Any girl that went to trials on the 13th is invited also. Coaching and Training Opportunity
Former Black Stick Mark Kale is at the North Otago Hockey turf this Friday afternoon for training clinics and coaching the coaches.  Session times will run 3.30 to 4.30 pm for primary years 1-6 and 4.30 to 5.30 pm for intermediate.  All welcome

Uniforms
Please wear a navy thermal or navy t-shirt under your singlet if you are cold.  Other colours are not allowed.  (Sorry no PE tops under playing singlet)

 FIBA Qualifier Coaching Clinics will be held on Saturday 23rd June at Cowles Stadium from 1.00 to 3.00 pm.  For further information contact Caleb Harrison on gm@crbf.org.nz  Promotional materials will be available through local & social media channels and basketball networks shortly.
