Winter Uniform Hire & ANZAC Display

Winter Sports Uniform Hire
There is a charge of $5.00 per student per winter sport for their uniform hire.  Please pay this by Wednesday 4th May so your child can receive their sports uniform before they start sport on the 7th May.  Mrs Souness will hand out the uniforms once you have paid.

ANZAC Display
Today the Yr 7 & 8 students displayed their ANZAC Inquiry in the hall for parents and fellow students to have a look at.  They had to choose a person and investigate what their involvement was in that war. The students have used various methods to show their inquiry by using models, display boards, computers, sound effects, items of clothing and materials, paintings, photos etc. A fantastic display on offer and well done to the students and teachers. Even the smell of ANZAC biscuits cooking in the kitchen added another dimension.  There is an ANZAC service at school at 2.30 pm at school today.  Below is some photos from the display.

Footsteps Dance Company
We specialise in curriculum integrated school dance programs. Our programs use dance as a vehicle to develop students’ inter/intra personal skills, fitness levels and provide teachers with classroom resources that use dance as a starting point to help teachers educate across other curriculum areas.
After a free trial last year, we arranged for Kate to run 5 dance sessions for our whole school this week. These lessons work out at $15 per child. Our school has subsidised $10 of the cost, leaving a total amount of $5 per child remaining for families. This cost can be paid to the office or included on your accounts. All parents are invited to attend the final session tomorrow and see what your children have learnt during the week. These are the times for tomorrow: 1:00-1:30 Year 6,7,8 1:30-2:00 Year 4, 5 2:00-2:30 Year 1-3
