Athletics

A paper notice has been sent home with your child regarding senior and junior athletics in the next couple of weeks.  A copy of the notice is also on the blog.

Futsal 

Please look for the draw and other information regarding Futsal that you need to know further in the newsblog. There is no sports fee for Futsal for this term as Football South received funding to run the competition this year.  Next year, there will be a sports fee charged.

Sports

Please ensure when you sign your child up to play a sport, they turn up to the games or let someone know as it is very frustrating for coaches when the children do not turn up and therefore the team does not have enough players.  This was the case on Monday when there were a few children who did not show up for their Futsal games. Thank you.

Touch Fees

If your child started playing touch in term 4, the fees for term 4 are $12.50 and for children who started playing in term 1, their fees are $25.00 for the two teams.  Please ensure these fees are paid as soon as possible. 

Community Notices

07 November 2021 - Oamaru Market 

This Sunday from 9:30 am - 1 pm at the Harbour area

• Come support our local vendors and community stalls, while you get your fresh veggies for the week and grab something to munch on whilst at it, listening to some live music.
  
  
• We do need to make sure that we are meeting the Covid 19 Level 2 restrictions, so please remember to enter the Market via the main entrance on Wansbeck St only. We need to monitor how many people are on site, so please do only use this entrance/exit. We also ask that you sign in using the QR code or registration book, wear a mask unless eating or drinking and please maintain 2m distance from people that are unknown to you.

• Christmas Baking Competition - It's Time to Bake with Team Shannon.  Get creating in the kitchen and design your best Christmas cookie to win an all-new baking gift pack.  One giveaway for 6-9-year-olds and another for 10-14-year-olds.  Post a picture of your creative cookie creations on the One Agency Real Estate post or email a picture to shannon.barlow@oatps.nz   A copy of the flyer is attached to the email.
