Athletics 
Seniors - On Monday, our students aged 8 years and up competed in our senior athletics day on a beautiful fine day.  Well done to all of you who participated with great sportsmanship and competitiveness.  Trophy presentations will be held tomorrow at Kotuitui at 2.30 pm.  Thank you to all the parents who came and helped out on the day. junior school activities in opposite conditions to the seniors where light showers made their appearance. The Yr 8's coordinated various games like sprints, long jump, shot put, dodge ball, relays, octopus and noodle tag. Click the link to view photos.  Junior Athletics

Cricket for Yr 5 and 6

Congratulations
Well done to the following students who have been selected in the North Otago Touch Rugby Rep teams. They are travelling down to Balclutha on Sunday to play in a trial tournament for the Otago Touch Rugby team.  Good luck to all.

Nacho Lunch
Today the Home and School sold nachos for lunch which made a nice change for the lunch box and talking from personal experience, they were very yummy.  Thank you Home and School and to the parents who helped with the distribution.

School Photos
Were distributed yesterday so please have a look in your child's bag. Any orders need to be handed in to the school office by Friday 11th November.  The choir photo can be viewed in the office.

We warmly welcome Denise Caponpon who started school this week to our Yr 8 class.

  • Waitaki Community Gardens - are collaborating to help local children learn what to do next.  'Lets take your Little Garden to the Big Garden' is a community event for all ages that will be held from 4.00 to 6.00 pm on Friday 11th November.  Children can bring their New World Little Garden along on the day and educational activities will be provided by the staff and volunteers at Waitaki Community Gardens located on Chelmer Street opposite the Resource Recovery Park.
